Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas earned himself the NBA's Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors, becoming the first Celtic this season to win the award.

Thomas, who was traded to Boston less than two weeks ago, has been one of the league's best scorers since the all-star break.

Thomas averaged 22 points, 6.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds. He also shot an impressive 54 percent from the field and led the Celtics to a 3-1 record.

Isaiah Thomas' week:

Celtics 115 - Suns 110: 21 points, 7 assists, 1 rebound, 1 steal

Celtics 115 - Knicks 94: 19 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds

Celtics 106 - Hornets 98: 28 points, 7 assists, 1 rebound, 1 steal

Warriors 106 - Celtics 101: 20 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds

Thomas is the first Boston player to win the award since Jared Sullinger last season. Isaiah has been a key catalyst for the Celtics in the month of February since being traded from the Phoenix Suns.

Coach Brad Stevens and the Celtics finished the month of February, 7-4, first winning month of Stevens' NBA coaching career.
